User Problem
User Problem
DeFi users struggle with complex platforms and manual capital management, leading to costly mistakes and missed opportunities.
Managing liquidity across multiple protocols requires constant monitoring, rebalancing, and risk assessment—tasks that are time-consuming and error-prone. Even experienced users often face impermanent loss, inefficient capital allocation, or missed yield opportunities due to the manual nature of the process.
Solution
Flow-Fi automates DeFi liquidity management with AI-driven rebalancing, optimizing capital allocation without manual effort.
Powered by ORA’s AI Agent, Flow-Fi removes the need to constantly monitor pools or react to market shifts. The platform streamlines complex strategies into an intuitive experience, offering real-time insights and guidance that empower both seasoned investors and newcomers. By combining automation with transparency, Flow-Fi helps users maximize returns, minimize risk, and focus on the bigger picture of their investment strategy.
Research
None of us knew what decentralized finance was…
When we started, DeFi was completely new to us, so we immersed ourselves in research—watching explainer videos, breaking down articles and whitepapers, and analyzing competitors. This gave us a solid foundation in liquidity pools and capital management while highlighting gaps in usability and automation that directly informed Flow-Fi’s design.
User Flow
Mapping out the end-to-end experience with AI…
Created the user flow helped us understand better the feature that users wanted to see when it came to AI implementation in decentralized platforms.
Final Designs
Flow-Fi’s aesthetic embraces contemporary Web3 design trends.
The UI was designed around a dark, futuristic theme that conveys both professionalism and trust in a space often perceived as overwhelming. We leaned into a dark-mode dashboard with neon highlights to give it a modern, cutting-edge aesthetic while maintaining clarity.
Key Challenges
Working within a 48-hour hackathon meant moving fast and making trade-offs.
We first had to overcome the steep learning curve of DeFi, crypto, and liquidity pools, which slowed implementation and required extra time spent researching and simplifying key concepts for our use case.
We initially attempted to integrate ORA’s Onchain Perpetual Agent Kit but were blocked by the lack of an API key. As a result, we pivoted to fetching market data from CoinGecko, Alchemy, and DeFi Llama APIs. To make sense of the raw liquidity data, we sent it to Claude AI, which generated user-friendly recommendations for our platform.
Time constraints also forced us to narrow scope—focusing on core functionality rather than building every envisioned feature. Finally, structuring the navigation and presenting complex pool data proved challenging, so we streamlined the navbar and prioritized only the most essential features.
Next Steps
Focus on deeper liquidity optimization, seamless automation, and more reliable data integrations.
We plan to explore more reliable API solutions to ensure seamless, accurate data fetching while continuing to refine the UI/UX for clearer insights into liquidity pools. Finally, we aim to expand AI-driven recommendations, empowering users with smarter, more personalized decision-making.
